Shiuan Ting van Vuuren is the chief investment officer for Sun Life International HuBS, covering the general account of Hong Kong, Bermuda and Singapore, since 2018. Her 18 years in the financial industry span investment, liability management, and actuarial services in Hong Kong, Singapore, and London.
Alison Chan brought 20 years of financial services experience to Chow Tai Fook Enterprises - the investment arm of the Cheng Family of Chow Tai Fook Group - when she joined as chief operating officer in 2018. Chan has previously worked with banks including Standard Chartered Bank, Bank of America, and Merrill Lynch.
Ayesha Macpherson Lau was named chairman of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority in March 2021 to oversee Hong Kong's retirement saving system. She was reappointed to the role on March 3 for a second term. She started her career with KPMG in London before joining KPMG in Hong Kong, where was managing partner until September 2021.

Carol Mo is the deputy chief investment officer of FTLife Insurance since October 2022. She has over 13 years of experience in Hong Kong's insurance industry. Before re-joining FTLife, she held senior roles with BOC Life and China Life Insurance Overseas.
Courtney Wei has almost 20 years of experience in the asset management industry. Before becoming the deputy general manager for China Life Insurance (Overseas) in February 2022, she worked with China Asset Management in Hong Kong and before that, she was a portfolio manager in both Hong Kong and Boston.
Doris Ho, who joined Hospital Authority Provident Fund Scheme in 2007, is executive director with oversight and management responsibility for all activities of the scheme. Before this, she was a director of investment. She also previously worked with Mercer and has more than 20 years of experience in the investment and retirement industry.
Elsy Li is a seasoned financial executive with over 25 years of experience in the US, Europe, and Asia. As chief operating officer of Peterson Group, she manages the family office's strategy and investments as well as digital transformation. Before this, she was group treasurer and head of corporate development of Sun Hung Kai & Co from 2017 to 2022.
Fanda Ho joined AXA Hong Kong and Macau as chief investment officer in February 2023. She has about 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to AXA, she was with Prudential Hong Kong for over five years, most recently as the head of investments. Her previous working stints include Aviva Investors and Prudential Assurance in the UK.
Glenda So is group head of emerging business and fixed income & currency (FIC) at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing and a member of its management committee. She also leads all the ESG efforts at HKEX. Prior to HKEX, So spent four years as the COO of a macro hedge fund in Singapore. She also had a 23-year career with Goldman Sachs, where she was a managing director.
Helen Zhu, with over 20 years of experience, is an investment leader in Hong Kong. Since 2019, she is MD and chief investment officer with NF Trinity, the investment arm of the Nan Fung Group. Before that, Zhu worked with BlackRock and Goldman Sachs as head of China equities and chief China strategist, respectively.
Julia Leung became chief executive officer of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) in January 2023. Leung entered Hong Kong's public sector in 1994. She worked with Hong Kong Monetary Authority, and Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau, before joining SFC in 2015 as executive director to oversee the investment products division.
Medha Samant has been an Asia-Pacific equities expert in Hong Kong since 1994. She joined AIA in 2021 as the regional director for equities investment. Before that, she was the Asia-Pacific equities investment director at Fidelity International for 10 years. She is also non-executive director of Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust since 2020.
Sabrina Du is alternative investment lead with AXA China Region Insurance Company since May 2019, with a focus on real estate, private equity and infrastructure. An expert in private markets investment since 2011, Du previously worked in both Beijing and Hong Kong for the Goodman Group, JLL, and CBRE.
