Walden International Investment expands leadership team

The venture capital firm focuses its investments on biotechnology, software and internet with new additions to team.

Charles Hsu is the new general partner for Walden International Investment Group (WIIG), responsible for investments in the life sciences sector. Hsu began his venture capital career in 1990 with Advent International, where he was a partner. Eventually, Hsu moved to Walden VC where he was a partner immediately prior to this new appointment. At Walden VC, Hsu managed global investments in healthcare and the life sciences.

WIIG's second appointment  is Amos Barzilay, who will be the general partner responsible for investments in the internet infrastructure and software sectors. Prior to WIIG, Barzilay was vice president and general manager of the content and supplier solution division of Commerce One.
