IBM makes senior appointments for Hong Kong and China

IBM China/Hong Kong Limited has appointed a new general manager and director of marketing.

IBM Hong Kong has appointed Cordelia Chung and Tony Tai as general manager and director of marketing respectively.

Prior to her appointment as general manager, Chung was vice president and general counsel of IBM Asia Pacific for four years, where she was responsible for legal and security affairs.

Chung succeeds Tai, whose new responsibility will be to oversee the operation of IBM's marketing organization in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Tai joined IBM in 1980, and was named general manager of IBM China/Hong Kong Limited  in September 1998.
