Brooker appoints senior vice president

With ten years regional experience behind her, Avery will focus on marketing and expanding Brooker's current products and services in business consulting, market research, industrial sector reports and on-line information services.

To be based in Bangkok, Avery previously served as Executive Director of the Thai Canadian Chamber of Commerce and before that was a Managing Partner of Global Business Alliances in Myanmar, Cambodia and Thailand.

Her first task will be to lead the launch next month of a sector report entitled the "Thai Telecommunications Industry" in three volumes covering fixed line, mobile and major players. This will be followed by "Thailand's Internet Industry in the New Millennium" and the "Thai Automotive Industry," as well as subsequent reports in preparation including the "Business of Politics in Thailand."
