The firm is set to announce an Asia head of its global strategic relationship group to align with its largest gatekeeper relationships. It plans to hire and is also adding in investments.
But it faces challenges. “When I mentioned diversification and long-term investing [to intermediaries], they all laughed,” says new Asia head Jed Laskowitz.
The US-based fund house may look to enter the mutual funds market in Australia this year, as well as Southeast Asia. It comes as it launches a new market guide as a training tool.
