The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), the largest US futures exchange, has signaled its commitment to the region by announcing the appointment of Johannes Zhou as Director, Asian Business Development. Most recently, Zhou was president of the Boston-based Zeta Institute of Finance and Risk Management, a firm that specializes in advisory work in financial markets, investment banking, asset management and financial technology, and also serves as an advisor on futures and risk management to the CSRC (China Securities Regulatory Commission). In addition to these roles, he also led China operations for UBS and held a variety of financial roles at State Street Bank and Trust Company.
