White & Case adds four

International law firm White & Case announces that four new associates have joined the firm''s Hong Kong office.

In a move that highlights how counter-cyclical the legal business can be, White & Case is expanding its Hong Kong team in a number of different practice areas.

The new associates comprise Kathleen Flaherty, who joins the China practice group, Grant Robertson, in the dispute resolution practice, as well as Anthony Wong and Lora Yuen, members of the securities and capital markets team.

Flaherty, who is a fluent Mandarin speaker, joins White & Case from Coudert Brothers in New York. Prior to joining White & Case, Robertson was a senior associate with Freehills, one of Australia's largest and most respected law firms. Wong was previously a solicitor in the corporate practice of Richards Butler in Hong Kong. Yuen is a recent graduate from Dalhousie Law School in Canada and is formerly an associate with Goodmans in Canada.

George Crozer, executive partner of White & Case Asia said, "Kate, Grant, Tony and Lora bring to the firm a vast array of experience. We are excited by their appointments and the expansion of the China, dispute resolution, and securities and capital markets practice areas."
