UBS Warburg appoints new heads of equity sales

In a bid to boost its equity sales capabilities in Asia, UBS Warburg has appointed Wongjong Lee as head of sales, Korea and Sarah-Jane Wagg as head of sales for Indonesia.

Lee will report to both Michael Chin, regional head of sales, and Douglas Ahn, who heads the dealing room in Korea. Wagg also reports to Chin, as well as Singapore-based John Jacobson, head of Equities for south east Asia and India

Prior to joining UBS Warburg in May 2000, Lee worked on the institutional sales and trading desk at Samsung Securities in New York and before that Daewoo Securities in the United States and in Korea.

Wagg also joined the bank two years ago, prior to which she worked in the equity sales divisions at HSBC, BZW and Smith Newcourt where she broked equities, quasi-equities and derivatives.
