Skadden sends Kell down under

Senior corporate partner, Christopher J. Kell, will arrive in the Sydney practice of international law firm, Skadden, Arps to coincide with the 15th anniversary of the office's opening. Kell transfers from Skadden's New York operations, where he was a partner for 20 years.

To the Sydney office, Kell will bring experience in corporate and structured finance, cross-border debt, equity and hybrid transactions and general and corporate governance advising. In addition, Kell also represents international financial, commercial and industrial clients in cross-border financings.

He also brings international experience gleaned in Paris and Seoul to the Sydney practice in a move designed to reinforce the firm's Australian and New Zealand operations. According to Skadden, Kell's transfer will be followed by the appointment in Sydney of least two more associate attorneys to the firm.

Presently, these hirings have yet to be announced.
