SGCIB bulks up Taiwan treasury

Warren Yang to give the Taiwan fixed income and derivatives business a boost.

SG Corporate & Investment Banking (SG CIB) has rolled out the big punches in its Taiwan treasury and fixed income operations, announcing the appointment of Warren Yang to the team. In an effort to bolster its structured finance and derivatives capabilities, Yang comes on board as managing director and head of treasury, fixed income and derivatives at SG CIB Taipei.

Yang shoots over to the French group from the Taipei operations of American Express Bank, where he was director and head of North Asia trading desk.

Upon joining the firm, he reports locally to Pascal Sefrin, head of SG CIB Taiwan and functionally to Stephen So, managing director and head of debt capital markets and derivatives, Asia and Michel Bine, managing director and head of treasury for Asia, Japan and Australia.
