SG hires two new faces for utilities research team

SG, the investment banking arm of Societe Generale, has announced two senior appointments to its Regional Utilities Research team. Joseph Jacobelli is taking the position of director and regional sector head in Hong Kong, and Jose Antonio Alitagtag has been appointed vice president and senior analyst in Singapore.

"Joseph and Jose Antonio are both highly rated and extremely experienced analysts and to have them on board will certainly maintain SG's commitment in providing quality research capabilities," says Dr Foo Fatt Kah, SG's head of research.

Joseph was previously with HSBC as head of regional utilities research, and Jose Antonio joins from Nomura Securities in the Philippines where he was head of research.
