Seo carves out new role at Salomon/KEB in Korea

Young-Tae Seo becomes director and chief administrative officer at Salomon Smith Barney KEB Securities.

Young-Tae Seo is to take up a newly created position as director and chief administrative officer (CAO) at Salomon Smith Barney KEB Securities, based in Seoul. His responsibilities will include local management and the coordination of finance and administration at the joint venture. He will report to E.S. Min, president and CEO of Salomon Smith Barney KEB Securities Co Ltd , and to Andrew Butcher, managing director and CAO of Salomon Smith Barney Asia.

Over the last 10 years, Seo has undertaken a number of financial control and management roles, including chief operating officer, in Seoul and New York for Seagram. Prior to that, he was with Chase Manhattan Bank and the Royal Bank of CanadaÆs Seoul branches.
