PricewaterhouseCoopers hires new corporate director

Jonathan Pyne, formerly of Krungthai Thanakit, joins PricewaterhouseCoopers.

PricewaterhouseCoopers has appointed Jonathan Pyne as a director of its corporate finance group. His responsibilities will include advisory services work on all aspects of corporate finance transactions with particular emphasis on capital markets transactions, pre-IPO development capital investments, takeover advisory assignments and general regulatory work for listed companies.

Pyne has over 15 years of corporate finance experience in Asia, both as an investment banker and as a lawyer, with particular focus on transaction management of new equity offerings, direct investment funds and mergers & acquisitions.

He spent six years with Standard Chartered Asia as a director of the equity capital markets group and was later an executive vice-president, investment banking with Krungthai Thanakit, part of the Krung Thai Bank group in Thailand.
