Photos: The Art of Asset Management conference
More than 200 delegates attended AsianInvestor’s Art of Asset Management conference in Hong Kong last week to debate the state of the industry and where the growth is likely to come from.
The event opened with a panel discussion on the development of the Asian funds industry, followed by a CEO roundtable looking at the growth potential of asset management in the region.
Distribution debates occupied the two subsequent morning sessions, one focused on private banks and the other on commercial banks.
And before lunch, Marco Montanari of Deutsche Bank’s db X-trackers ETF unit delivered an address on the growth of exchange-traded funds.
Post lunch, chief operating officers examined industry growth, while there was also a focus on China managers and an address by Paul Moloney of Dillon Eustace on Ucits and funds passporting.
The event closed with a panel discussion on Southeast Asia and whether its growth is sustainable. To view our gallery of photos from the event, please click here.
