More than 150 delegates gathered at The Westin in Beijing on September 13 for AsianInvestor's 5th China Global Investment Forum.
The event brought together representatives of some of China's leading institutional investors for a day of incisive debate and invigorating discussion.
Among the topics under discussion were the question of whether China's life insurers should outsource more of their investing to external managers, the challenges of building a national public pension system in the world's most populous country, and the attraction of private equity, onshore and offshore, to Chinese buyers.
