Persistent Edge hires Greater China marketer
Peter Wu joins Persistent Edge from the equity derivatives department of BNP Paribas.
Hong Kong-based fund of hedge funds Persistent Edge has hired Peter Wu. He joins as an executive director with responsibility for marketing and investor services in the Greater China region.
In this newly created role, Wu will report to the firm's managing director Eric Xu and will be based in the Hong Kong office.
For the last two years he had been with BNP Paribas as head of equity derivative sales. Before then he was head of derivative sales at SocGen in Hong Kong. Prior to that he had spells at ABN Amro (as head of structured product sales), China Everbright Bank and Bank of China.
