Paul Weiss elects Yu to counsel
US law firm appoints China counsel.
Paul Weiss has announced that Corinna Yu will take on the role of counsel in its Beijing corporate department. On taking up new post, Yu will also remain a member of the firm's communications and technology group, while also overseeing the operations of its Beijing office.
Her practice is primarily focused on the telecommunications and media sector and throughout her career she has been involved in both regional and China-based corporate transactions for the telco and IT sector.
Specifically, Yu has acquired experience acting as lead in-house counsel on public policy, regulatory and interconnect matters for a major Malaysian carrier, a South African-based satellite TV operator and a start-up pay TV operator in Hong Kong.
