Pang and Ng join e2 Capital

e2 Capital has announced that it has hired Marvin Pang to run the firm's primary equity market sales team.

Pang joins e2 Capital from Core Pacific-Yamaichi where he was head of institutional sales. Pang has also worked at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and Daiwa Securities, where he set up and led Daiwa's first Asian equity sales team based in North America.

Joining Pang in e2 Capital's primary equity division is Vivian Ng who will be a vice president in the equity capital markets team. Ng joins from Credit Lyonnais where she was an equity syndication manager.

Commenting on the appointments, SJ Wong, CEO of e2 Capital said "Mr Pang and Ms Ng both possess significant experience in raising primary equity capital through IPOs, share placements and rights issues. In the last three years they have together lead managed 11 IPOs in the Greater China region. Six of these were GEM IPOs representing 11% of the total GEM board IPOs."

The primary equity division at e2 Capital is expected to grow to 10 people in the coming year.
