Philip John heads focus on corporate finance, banking, project finance and capital markets.
Law firm Norton Rose has set up an office in Bangkok, as part of its Asian expansion plans. The office, which will focus on corporate finance, banking, project finance and capital markets, will be led by managing partner Philip John.
Before joining the firm, John was with Simmons & Simmons, Hong Kong. He has been in practice in Asia for the past eight years, specializing in corporate finance. He has also advised on power projects.
"We have taken this decision in response to requests from clients who have been keen for us to expand our presence in the region. We are extremely optimistic about our prospects there for the future," says Paul Giles, managing partner.
