Nichols joins Lehman Brothers in equity sales

The firm snares a new head of equities generalist sales from Deutsche.
Lehman Brothers has brought in David Nichols in a newly created role within its equities division. Effective September 11, he takes on the role of managing director, head of equities generalist sales, Asia ex-Japan.

Nichols is based in the firmÆs Hong Kong offices and reports to Christopher Wendel, head of equities sales Asia. As part of his role, Nichols is charged with leading the build out of LehmanÆs Asia equities sales team.

Nichols joins from Deutsche Bank where he was head of generalist sales. Prior to this role, he was vice president of equity sales at ING, working for this bank in both Hong Kong and Singapore.
