New senior consultant for Allen & Overy Bangkok

Tim Dobson (pictured right) has been appointed new senior consultant for A&O's Bangkok corporate team.

Commenting on the appointment, Simon Makinson, managing partner of the Bangkok office and head of the corporate team, says: "Our corporate practice is very busy at the moment and has been for some time, hence Tim's appointment. His experience in this field, both in Bangkok and in Asia more generally, means he can really hit the ground running, which is exactly what we need. Tim is a great boost to the team and our capability in Bangkok."

Dobson, who was previously with Clyde & Co in Hong Kong, has experience in commercial and corporate work, including M&A, joint ventures (domestic and international), and restructurings. His corporate finance experience includes general listings and securities, as well as stock exchange work. He has also advised on loan and equity financings, secured and unsecured facilities, syndicated loans, non-recourse financing and term loans.
