New international broking head at Seamico Securities

Michael Fernandez leaves analyst position at Nomura to take new role at Seamico.

Thailand's Seamico Securities has announced the appointment of Michael Fernandez as head of its international broking unit. He joins the firm from Nomura Securities, where he was an analyst.

Fernandez has worked in Thailand for over ten years, and aside from Nomura, he has also held senior positions with Credit Lyonnaise, Tisco, Peregrine and UBS. Most of his time has been spent intergrating sales and research teams.

"Joining Seamico is a challenge," says Fernandez. "As one of the top three brokers in Thailand by market volume, Seamico has an excellent base to build on and develop international business."
