New director of Asian equities for CMG First State

CMG First State Singapore expands with the growth of the company''s investment resources in the region and appoints a new director of Asian equities.
Kes Visuvalingam is the new director of Asian equities for CMG First State Investments. He takes over from Peter Sartori, who leaves after a year in the Singapore office.

Visuvalingam's responsibilities are to provide leadership for all of CMG First State Singapore's Asian equity investment activities, facilitate and integrate the processes of the Asian investment team with the efforts of the global team, and manage the day-to-day investment operations.

Visuvalingam has 11 years of fund management experience beginning his career at Brinson Partners in London as an investment analyst and portfolio manager. He then joined UBS Brinson Asset Management in Singapore as a portfolio manager. Immediately prior to joining CMG First State investments, he was investment director at Murray Johnstone Asia Limited in Singapore.
