Miodrag Janjusevic joins Sail as chief risk officer
Hong Kong-based fund of hedge funds company Sail Advisors has hired Miodrag Janjusevic as chief risk officer. Janjusevic, who is replacing Jeff Nie, is responsible for portfolio and investment risk, operational due diligence and quantitative research.
Janjusevic joins from Deutsche Bank Asia where he was director of strategic solutions, responsible for cross asset risk solutions for hedge funds and institutional clients. A spokeswoman for Sail Advisors could not say where Nie has gone.
Commenting on Janjusevic's addition to the Sail Advisors team, CEO Vincent Duhamel, notes that "there is some fantastic talent in the market place at the moment".
Prior to his role at Deutsche Bank, Janjusevic worked at JP Morgan for 15 years in various roles including head of global equity derivative research, head of debt/equity solutions group, head of CB sales and trading Asia, and head of corporate derivatives Asia.
Sail Advisors, which has assets under management of around $1.8 billion, offers global and Asian fund of hedge funds products to investors worldwide. It invests in multiple hedge funds for its investors, both globally and in Asian markets. It has a staff of more than 40 in Hong Kong.
