The platform known as Kotak Trader feeds on the growing appetite of Indian investors for overseas investing.

Kotak Securities is a stock broking house while Saxo Capital Markets is a subsidiary of Saxo Bank, an online trading and investment specialist headquartered in Denmark.

D Kannan, an executive director at Kotak Securities, says the platform -- known as Kotak Trader -- feeds on the growing appetite of Indian investors for overseas investing.

For his part, Kazuaki Takabatake, CEO of Saxo Capital Markets, says the partnership with Kotak Securities in India is in line with the company's global expansion plans.

Kotak Trader provides Indian investors with global reach by offering real-time access to equities across 24 prominent exchanges. Other benefits include transparent pricing, real-time streaming news, charting and data analysis systems, recommendations, and research reports on sectors and stocks. Other than direct access to dealers at Saxo Capital Markets through a two-way dealer chat, a dedicated account manager is also available for any customer service related issues.
