Jones Day beefs up Beijing presence

Three associates bolsters its China business and construction practice groups.

Law firm Jones Day has hired three new associates in its Beijing office's China business and construction practice groups.

Anna Wong joins Jones Day from a leading international firm in Hong Kong and brings experience in general corporate law, corporate governance, business restructuring, cross-border mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. She heads to the firm as an associate in its business practice group.

Also heading to the business practice group in Beijing is Jing Zhang who brings experience in capital markets and corporate finance from a domestic PRC firm. Over his career, Zhang has advised Chinese companies, international companies and investment banks in IPO and M&A transactions.

The third hire, Lisa So, comes to Jones Day with experience in construction-related arbitration and litigation matters. Throughout her legal career, So has been involved in advising international and Chinese contracts in Hong Kong and the mainland. She moves from an international law firm in Hong Kong where she focused her energy on construction and engineering law issues for owners, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants.
