JD Edwards appoints new MD

JD Edwards has appointed Henry Wong as managing director for JD Edwards Hong Kong. He is responsible for developing JD EdwardsÆ business in Hong Kong and is involved in developing distribution networks and in fostering strategic alliances with business partners.

Previously, Wong was with Oracle Systems (Hong Kong) as a partner relationship manager. Before that, he was the divisional manager for software solutions sales at Commercial Software Services Ltd.

EdwardsÆ vice president and managing director, Asia Pacific said, "With his wealth of experience in Hong KongÆs information technology industry, I am sure Mr Wong will help JD Edwards empower its capabilities and expand its network to capture the great market potential of eBusiness, and to respond to our customersÆ increasingly complex business needs. I believe that Mr Wong will be a valuable asset in contributing to the companyÆs success in Hong Kong."
