ING structured finance teams receives a boost
ING will bring two new members to its structured finance team in Singapore. .
Joining from Calyon, Credit Agricole's corporate and investment banking arm, Silas Wong assumes the role of director, natural resources, Asia. His new responsibilities at ING include the origination, structuring and execution of project financing in the Asian oil and gas sector. Effective June 1, Wong will report to Wijnand van Eck, director, natural resources, Asia.
At Calyon, Wong worked in the project and finance team as vice president and regional head of energy. First joining the Credit Agricole group in 1994, Wong has racked up experience in both South East Asia and North Asia, financing utilities, oil and gas projects.
Also joining ING's structured finance department in Singapore is Giuseppina Tagliani, who has been appointed vice president, utilities finance, Asia. Tagliani will focus primarily on the Asian power and water sectors, providing support to ING's efforts to expand origination and execution projects in the region.
Tagliani shifts to ING from Bank of America Hong Kong, where she was an assistant vice president in its utilities team. Joining Bank of America in 1997, Tagliani focused on project finance. Before Bank of America, she spent time NM Rothschild and Sons Ltd. in Singapore and with Banque Paribas in London, gaining experience in utilities financing advisory.
Tagliani will report to Erwin Maspolim, head of utilities finance, Asia.
