ING adds banking sector expertise

Paul Sheehan is moving from Lehman Brothers to ING Financial Markets as regional head of banking sector research. Sheehan will be based in Hong Kong leading the banking analysts team throughout Asia and will be responsible for liaising with ING banking research teams internationally.

As co-head of Asian bank research at Lehman he helped expand the coverage platform and maintained coverage personally of banks in Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines. Peter Johnson, Head of International Equities says,"the bank sector is one of the most important for equity clients and Paul's appointment is vital in expanding our research service to our global client base."

Prior to Lehman Sheehan was at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for four years following his MBA at Yale.
