India calls for ABN AMRO

ABN AMRO has poached Indian telecoms analyst Manish Srivastava from Salomon Smith Barney.

ABN AMRO has hired Manish Srivastava from Salomon Smith Barney to strengthen its telecommunications research team.

Srivastava, a CFA, has also worked at Credit Lyonnais Securities Asia and SSKI Securities covering the telecoms sector. Based in Mumbai, he will join the regional telecoms research team headed by Joe Locke.

"The Indian telecommunications industry is among the most dynamic in the world," says Locke. "With Manish's experience and track record, we will be able to offer more focused and in-depth insight to investors."
