Hahm to lead ING Asia DCM
Ehwan Hahm is promoted after Rod Sykes leaves the firm.
ING financial markets has appointed Ehwan Hahm as head of Asian debt capital markets in Hong Kong. Previously a director in the debt capital market division, Hahm's promotion is effective immediately. In his new role, Hahm will report to Percy Rueber, head of financial markets, Asia and Tim Hall, global head of debt capital markets.
As head of Asian debt capital markets, Hahm will focus on debt origination, execution and marketing client coverage with his four-member team.
Hahm replaces the former head of Asian debt capital markets, Rod Sykes, who has left the firm after two years.
He joined ING Hong Kong in May 2002 from Lehman Brothers, where he was a vice president in DCM and before that was a member of Merrill Lynch's debt markets team.
