Forsyth Partners hires Toshimi Suzuki
Tokyo-based veteran to join regional fund of funds/asset management business
Forsyth Partners has appointed Toshimi Suzuki as its regional director for Japan.
His hiring comes in anticipation of developing business opportunities in Japan, where Forsyth is planning to have representation and is in the process of finalizing details. He will be building on ForsythÆs existing Asian operations in Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea.
Suzuki-san has 30 years experience in the Japanese investment markets and is joining from Putnam Advisory Company where he was director of marketing. Prior to then, he was managing director of Credit Suisse Investment Advisory where he marketed non-Japan units to pension funds and institutional investors.
Forsyth Partners Ltd is a privately-owned investment house that was established in the UK in 1991 by Paul Forsyth. In the alternatives markets in Asia it is well known for its range of regional fund of funds products.
