Fitch promotes McCarthy

Fitch, the international rating agency, has promoted Ben McCarthy to head of Asia-Pacific structured finance. McCarthy was previously director of structured finance at Fitch in Sydney in Australia. His new position will be based in Hong Kong and he will start in early October.

McCarthy will be joined by Sunny Park, associate director of structured finance ratings in Hong Kong.

Replacing McCarthy in his old position in Australia is Natasha Vojvodic who will assume McCarthy's ratings reponsibilities for the 6 asset backed commercial paper issues that Fitch currently rates in sydney.
