Financial Objects grows sales team

Financial Objects has expanded its global sales team on the back of product demand.

The global supplier of technology banking software and services has appointed Alfred Lee as regional sales manager for north Asia.

Lee will support growing demand for Financial Objects' component-based ActiveBank technology throughout north Asia from the company's newly opened office, located in the One International Finance Centre, Hong Kong. Prior to joining Financial Objects, Lee spent six years in Hong Kong with Midas-Kapiti International where he was responsible for the business development of corporate, retail, treasury, trade finance and e-banking solutions.

The company is also expanding its sales team in the UK where Peter Schmitt and Mark Rose have joined as London-based sales associate directors. Rose was previously with China Systems and Barclays, while Schmitt joins Financial Objects from Midas-Kapiti International.

"The worldwide demand for our ActiveBank products has grown continually throughout 2001," says Karim Peermohamed, sales director, Financial Objects. "In direct response to this we have restructured and expanded the sales team, and opened new premises to accommodate key regions."
