Dresdner makes management changes for Asian equities

Kevin Phillips returns to Hong Kong as head of global equities Asia for Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein.

Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW) has made key management changes to its Asian equities operation.

Kevin Phillips has been appointed head of global equities for Asia (excluding Japan), taking over from Richard Armstrong who has left the company.

Phillips returns to Hong Kong, having concluded a four year stint as head of research for Japan equities in the Tokyo office of the investment bank. He was previously chief operating officer for the Asian securities business.

Simon Sadler will take up a new role as deputy head of global equities Asia. Sadler is currently head of equities trading in Asia. His responsibilities will include supporting Phillips in the management of the Asian equities business, while continuing to be responsible for equities trading. Sadler joined DrKW in 1995. His previous experiences include a stint at Brunswick Warburg in Moscow where he traded Russian equities, and at Nikko Securities.
