Deutsche makes Indonesia custody hire

Deutsche Bank's Indonesia domestic custody business has received a boost, with the bank naming Elwin Karyadi as its new head of the product and cash management team for domestic custody services in Indonesia. The position falls under Deutsche's global transaction banking division.

Karyadi will take responsibility for domestic custody, fund administration and transfer agency services relating to both domestic and international institutional investors. He will report to Thibaud de Maintenant, head of product and client management, domestic custody services- GTB, Asia.

He switches from Bank Niaga and brings 16 years of senior management experience in the banking and capital markets industry, during which time he has held senior roles in private banking, consumer banking, asset management and domestic and international custodial services.
