Deutsche hires Lin from JPMorgan
Its FIG division gets its second new director in two months.
Deutsche Bank has continuing the hiring momentum in its financial institutions group (FIG), bringing Archie Lin to the firm. Lin takes on the role of director of FIG, global banking Asia from DeutscheÆs Hong Kong offices with immediate effect.
In his newly created role, he will have coverage responsibility for financial services companies in the Asian region. At Deutsche, he reports directly to William Nichol, managing director and head of FIG Asia.
LinÆs arrival at Deustche bank comes two months since the firm appointed Dhruv Shrikent as a director of FIG and is in response to growing demand for its services in Asia.
He crosses to Deutsche from JPMorgan where he was vice president of its investment banking team. Lin first joined JPMorgan in 1997 and held positions in its New York, London, Hong Kong and Taipei offices. Prior to JPMorgan, he was employed by Schroders in New York.
