Deutsche Bank has announced the appointment of Simon Sadler as director and deputy head of the Asian cash equities trading group. Based in Hong Kong, Sadler will report directly to Warren Primhak, head of Asian equity trading.

Sadler's remit at Deutsche will be to help build the equity trading platform of the bank's cash equity products across the ex-Japan Asia Pacific region. He joins Deutsche from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein where he held the role of head of Asian equities trading, covering index arbitrage, proprietary trading, depositary receipts and cash trading.

"He will enable Deutsche Bank to give clear transparent execution and market making ability in our North East Asian products as well as our younger markets."
