Dalgleish appointed head of e-Business at Hongkong Land

Hongkong Land has appointed Alan Dalgleish as head of e-Business. Dalgleish earlier this year provided consultancy services to Hongkong Land in respect of the company's new web developments. His appointment follows on from the launch of CENTRALhk.com, Hongkong Land's new portal.

Prior to becoming an e-business consultant in the latter part of 1999, Dalgleish was a property analyst at SG Securities and was one of the more bearish commentators on the outlook for the Hong Kong market. Before SG Securities, Dalgleish had been head of research at First Pacific Davies.

Executive director Ian Hawksworth said: "Alan Dalgleish combines an in-depth knowledge of Hong Kong's property sector with considerable e-business experience. His newly-created role as head of e-Business is to give direction to Hongkong Land's investigation and development of web-based opportunities. Our objective is to use the internet to bring value-added and commercial online benefits to our tenants and shareholders."
