CQS hires for sales and marketing in Australia
London-based hedge fund CQS has hired Louise Walker in a newly created role to develop its sales and client servicing for Australian and New Zealand clients from its Sydney office.
Walker will work alongside two existing directors in the Sydney office, which was opened early last year.
She joins CQS from Tria Investment Partners. Before that she worked for more than 20 years at Macquarie group, where she held various roles, including as a portfolio manager and product specialist for fixed income, currencies and commodities.
At CQS she will report to Paul Chadwick, managing director of CQS Australia, and Mandy Mannix, global head of sales and marketing.
CQS was founded in 1999 by Michael Hintze and manages a wide spectrum of hedge funds.
