The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) is actively exploring data centre investments across Asia Pacific through its private credit platform, capitalising on surging demand by generative artificial intelligence (AI) adoption, according to Raymond Chan, the managing director and head of APAC credit of the pension fund.
