AsianInvestor reported on Wednesday that Sandra Cheng was on gardening leave from her role as Southeast Asia head of institutional business at Columbia Threadneedle and was set to join rival asset manager Invesco in Singapore.
However, a spokeswoman for Columbia Threadneedle told AsianInvestor on Wednesday morning that Cheng is still an employee, and has not resigned.
