Jimmy Pun steps into the role at the end of August.

A former Hospital Authority executive has landed the role of director and head of pension funds, global fund services (GFS), Hong Kong, for the Bank of Bermuda.

Jimmy Pun steps into the role at the end of August. He will be responsible for growing the bank's MPF business and looking after client servicing, as well as the administration teams. He will report to Lilian Wong, GFS country head in Hong Kong.

Paul Smith, head of GFS for the bank, says: "Given the significant importance of the bank's retirement scheme and MPF division plays in our business in Hong Kong, it is vitally important that we have the best people in the business."

Pun worked at the Hospital Authority for 10 years. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and is a committee member of the Hong Kong Retirement Schemes Association.
