Bank of America names new heads of Asian global markets

Bank of America has announced two senior appointments to its Global Markets Group.

Goetz Eggelhoefer joins as managing director and head of Global Markets, Asia (ex-Japan), and Kenichi Tatsuzawa as managing director and head of Global Markets, Japan.

Tatsuzawa was previously working in fixed income with Merrill Lynch in both Tokyo and London. Prior to this he was with Sumitomo Bank for eight years. Eggelhoefer has spent the last 18 years with JP Morgan, most recently as managing director with responsibility for Global Markets within the Asia-Pacific region.

Based in Singapore and Tokyo respectively, Eggelhoefer and Tatsuzawa will report to Duncan Goldie-Morrison, Global Markets and Asia executive. Gordon Sangster, currently head of Global Markets, Asia and head of Global Treasury, will remain in Hong Kong for the next few months working with both Tatsuzawa and Eggelhoefer.

Following this transition he will remain head of Global Treasury, but will move to take up a new assignment within the Global Markets Group in New York. Details of his new role will
be announced shortly.
