AUSTRALIAN DERIVATIVES EXCHANGE NAMES NEW EXECUTIVE
SYDNEY, May 31 Asia Pulse - The Australian Derivatives Exchange (ADX) today announced that it had appointed Cathy Lyall as the new general manager of market operations. Ms Lyall will move to ADX on June 5. ADX intends to offer a fully electronic derivatives exchange when it launches later this year.
Ms Lyall comes from Colonial State Bank where she was manager of futures treasury services since 1994. "Cathy has a wealth of trading and management experience, having worked in financial markets since 1987," ADX managing director, John Herron said. "Her track record at Colonial in terms of increased profitability and client base expansion is nothing short of outstanding and her arrival at ADX will augment what is already a highly talented team."
As a member of the team Ms Lyall will be in charge of business development, sales and marketing, product development and market control and surveillance. "Market response to ADX is already strong and will only strengthen as the exchange launch approaches," Ms Lyall said.
