Asset Management Awards: request for pitches (part 1)
AsianInvestor is announcing today the launch of the pitch process for our Asset Management Awards for 2017.
We are staggering the pitch process for the awards and are only requesting pitches from service providers to begin with. We will follow this up in the coming week with details of the submission process for our other awards covering investment performance, including by country and asset focus, as well as our marquee awards for asset managers.
Our asset services awards cover custody, compliance/legal and audit services, and trading and execution. Please click here to access the online submission form. All pitches must be made using this digital process. We will not accept separately submitted pitches.
Some basic information follows below. We will include a separate online pitch form for investment managers when launching that pitch process. All award winners will be announced online during the week of March 27.
AsianInvestor will celebrate the awards at a black-tie gala dinner on Thursday, May 11 in Hong Kong. This will form part of AI Week, a three-day series of industry events from May 9-11, comprising workshops, panels, private discussion groups, awards and conferences. It will include our 12th annual Asian investment summit featuring speakers and delegates from the region’s leading institutional investors.
The submission forms provide details of the kind of information we are looking for.
ASSET SERVICES
The submission deadline for pitches is Friday, February 17. The awards categories are as follows:
1. Best global custodian for asset owners
2. Best global custodian for mutual funds
3. Best bank for cross-border custody
4. Buyside COO of the year – we seek your nominations
Interested parties should submit pitches using our online submission form. Pitches should outline why your organisation deserves the award. No supplementary material will be accepted other than testimonials from buy-side clients.
Interviews will take place in Hong Kong between Monday, February 20 and Friday, March 3. Interviews can be set up in advance, but we must receive your online pitch on time. Interviews are off record and meant to put your formal pitch into context.
AUDIT/LEGAL/INDEXING
The submission deadline for pitches is Friday, February 17. The awards categories are as follows:
1. Best law firm for asset management, Asia Pacific
2. Best compliance services provider
3. Best auditor (funds and tax)
4. Best index provider, global
In addition, our Marquee award: Asset Service Provider of the Year is open to custodians and all other service providers.
