ABN AMRO strengthens institutional equity sales
ABN AMRO appoints Stephen Cheng as director of institutional sales in Hong Kong and China.
ABN AMRO has announced the appointment of Stephen Cheng as a director in institutional sales for its Hong Kong and China equities sales desk.
With 12 years of experience in equity sales and research, Cheng joins ABN AMRO from SG Securities in Hong Kong. Prior to this he was a key member of the Hong Kong/China sales team of UBS Warburg.
"Hong Kong and China are priority markets for ABN AMRO," says Tom Royds, head of Asian equity sales. "Stephen has proven abilities in selling research, marketing analysts and in account management, talents which are essential in our ambition to promote ABN AMRO to the top tier in this highly competitive market."
Cheng holds a Master degree in Economics from the University of Hong Kong.
