SkyBridge Capital is eyeing the potential of China's burgeoning hedge fund industry, with tentative plans to open a Hong Kong office which would serve as a gateway to the sector.   The US-based fund of hedge funds firm plans to open a Singapore office by the first quarter of 2013, with the launch of a $250-$500 million Asia-focused fund by the end of next year, according to SkyBridge founder and managing partner Anthony Scaramucci.
