BarCap hires Asia-Pacific electronic sales trading head
Jan Shun Yet has joined alongside other sales trading hires, as buy-side demand grows for combining e-trading services with traditional advice and execution.
To cap a major hiring push in equity sales trading, Barclays Capital welcomed Jan Shun Yet on board last week as Asia-Pacific head of electronic sales trading.
He previously held a similar post at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BoA Merrill), where he had been since 2005, before which he worked as a portfolio trader at Morgan Stanley in New York.
Meanwhile, Michael Garcia, Orion Leung and Jamie White all joined in August in Hong Kong as additions to the sales/equity trading team, …
