AIA makes sustainability a key requirement for alts managers
The insurance group has a multi-faceted approach when it comes to achieving sustainable objectives in private markets — and this will be a crucial factor for selecting external managers going forward, AIA’s group CIO tells AsianInvestor.
Although the insurance group AIA prefers to focus on fixed income investments, its private markets (or alternatives) portfolio is also being utilised to push a development of sustainability and energy transition, according to Mark Konyn, group chief investment officer.
